Korean-born pianist Jaehun Kang was classically trained since 5 years old, fascinated by jazz music at the age of 15. He won the best jury price on the 2010 Jarasum International Jazz Concour. After that, he got accepted by Seoul Institute of the Arts at the top of the class and studied 1 and a half years there. In 2012, He went to Berklee College of Music on scholarship. Since he came to the United States, he has studied with Danilo Pérez, George Garzone, Hal Crook, and many others. Since he came to the United States, he has performed in many venues such as Lilypad, Café 939, Wally's Jazz Club, and so on.
