Cybersecurity enthusiast and NOC/system engineer based in Bengaluru, India, actively working towards a security analyst role and, in the future, a cybersecurity engineer position.

In the current NOC role, responsibilities include monitoring servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure, responding to alerts and incidents, and helping keep services stable and available. This provides solid experience with real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and production environments.

Alongside this, cybersecurity skills are built through practical labs and tools: web application security with OWASP Top 10 and DVWA, testing with Burp Suite and browser dev tools, and vulnerability assessment using Nmap and Nessus. Working with SIEM tools like Splunk and Wazuh for log analysis and alerting is combined with the study of Security+ topics and basic AWS cloud security.

The goal is to move into an entry-level Security Analyst/SOC role in Bengaluru and grow step by step into a strong Cybersecurity Engineer, combining NOC experience with hands-on security practice.
