Orlando Romane Singh (born September 22), better known by his stage name Jah Lando, is a Singer/Songwriter from Kingston, Jamaica with crossover potential.
Jah Lando is a rising star in the Jamaican music industry, emerging with an electrifying conscious dancehall vibe, Jah Lando is rapidly making a name for himself as an artist, and exuberant stage performer. He has been gaining recognition for songs such as; "Create History", and “Igniting ” which rocked up vast number of views on streaming platforms such as youtube along with various performances alongside acts such as Damian Marley, Sizzla, and many other renown artists. Jah Lando's latest works include his newest single, “The Style” and "Dem Heartless" with an accompanying music video that is currently astonishing the nation.
Jah Lando is the son of Janine and Anthony Singh better known as Moses I, an accomplished Roots Reggae Singer.
Jah Lando began to pursue his musical talent at the age of 3 and started performing on stage by the age of 6. At a tender age he won many contests and competitions by being an energetic and outstanding stage performer. His natural ability to perform allowed him to perform on stage with many of reggae music's top artists.
Jah Lando's talent has taken him all across Jamaica, the Caribbean, Latin America, and the US. On the One Love Reggae US tour where he had the opportunity to perform as an opening act for artist such as Buju Banton and others at large venues in many major US cities, Such as; LA, Chicago, Miami, Boston, and New York. He has also performed on many renown reggae events such as the Carib Fest, Irie Jamboree,
Rebel Salute, White River Bash, Jam Jam, and a great number of other events.
The first set of producers to discover Jah Lando's talent were Stephen Marley and Mr.G (Goofy) then Rod Pinnock of Orizen Entertainment, which also . This discovery came following Jah Lando's conquest on a competition called "Battle Thursdays" on August 12, 2004 which declared him as the winer. In 2007, Jah Lando followed up with a medley video with a group by the name of Innocent Minors, the video went #1 on TVJ's Suzie Q Video Alley Top Ten.
