Jaime Chanter

In her sixteenth year of teaching, Jaime has found her dream job. After teaching first grade for a bit, and then serving students with disabilities for a lot longer, she is now a Curriculum and Technology Teacher. She works between two schools with grades K-5 teachers to integrate technology into the curriculum. Jaime holds certifications in regular education K-8, special education K-12, Gifted and Talented, and Teaching English as a Second Language. She has her Reading Endorsement and a master's degree in Educational Technology.

Jaime is a Certified Google Educator. She has taught numerous professional development classes for Lakewood City Schools and is a professor at Cleveland State University. Jaime has presented at many educational technology conferences. She was awarded Google Slam Champion of Ohio in 2015. Jaime has completed the code.org training course Teaching Computer Science Fundamentals. Jaime is also a certified BrainPop Educator.

Jaime and her husband have six children and they all love technology!
