Technology Professor @ Ottawa University

Professor Fuentes has more than 22 years of experience as a College professor teaching all kinds of Technology subjects. He has held professional positions within corporate and private sectors in Computer Programming and Information Technology Departments. His experience as a career advisor, mentor, and faculty member has enabled him to offer extensive training, knowledge, and communication skills in the classroom and professional experience in working collaboratively with successful companies.

With his extensive knowledge in various technology subjects, he has provided invaluable insights into professional roles within the IT departments of corporations and private sectors. His contributions have significantly impacted successful companies in the KC metro area.

An integral part of Professor Fuentes's professional journey is his dedication to community development. He is closely affiliated with the Hispanic Economic Development Corporation (HEDC), an organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Latinos in the Greater Kansas City Area. Moreover, he has been instrumental in the Latino Math and Science Academy (LMASA) program, which aims to inspire high school students at risk of dropping out to remain in school and pursue higher education.

His collaborative work with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT), and local colleges have solidified his commitment to fostering Latino educational, scientific, and technical programs. Through these partnerships, he has championed initiatives that aid low-income students in pursuing a college education, thereby contributing to the growth and advancement of the local community.

Since 1999, Professor Fuentes has been an active member of the Wyandotte Community Service, receiving numerous recognitions and awards for his dedicated service. As a consultant, advisor, and recipient of educational grants, he continues to bring technology-driven solutions to educational institutions while paving the way for future generations.
