Jairo Rodriguez is a second year undergraduate student at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. He is double minoring if French and Economics. Jairo is involved with organizations at Texas Tech University and currently holds a position with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar Chapter at Tech as the Treasurer. He is the first Treasurer of the organization and has helped the Hispanic Scholarship Fund by managing their finances and keeping a record of how the money is spent within the organization. He organizes fundraising events as well as helps create budgets for the organization's workshops and events.
Jairo currently works part time at Amigos United as one of the Market Cleanup/Clerks where he uses his customer service experience to meet his customer's needs. He is confident and hard working which helps him balance the competing demands of school, work, and the community.
After his graduation in May 2016 Jairo plans to attend Law school to study Corporate Law and obtain his masters in International Relations. His lifelong goal and aspiration is to one day become one of the Supreme Court Justices.
