Jairus Khan

Just landed in Toronto, where I have moved with two formerly-feral cats in search of Adventure. Cats love Adventure.

I spend much of my downtime working with underground artists, trying to keep independent music from being smothered by an anachronism popularly known as 'the industry'. I DJ and promote concerts/festivals regularly, occasionally make beep-beep noises in an industrial-metal band (you may have heard us in your favourite video game commercial), and spent last fall on a six-week tour for my own project, Ad·ver·sary, which sounds something like robots fucking to My Bloody Valentine.

When I'm not working with, promoting, listening to, or writing music, I design flyers, book jackets, and the sort for various arts-related projects. I supplement my music/design income (roughly enough to buy a pocketful of buttons a month) by helping people make complicated websites.

I also bake very tasty cookies.
