Jeffrey Kay is an aspiring public relations specialist located in Rochester, N.Y. His interest in the field stems from a proven ability to write effectively and efficiently.
Kay is set to graduate from St. John Fisher College in May of 2016 with a major in communications and a minor in English. The communications background gives him the ability to write objectively, highlighting the importance of maintaining a professional perspective. The English minor has allowed Kay to write in a variety of ways, both creatively and analytically. The combination of these two fields gives Kay a multi-faceted approach to writing that could not be achieved otherwise.
Kay receives an annual "Transfer Achievement Scholarship" from St. John Fisher college, which illustrates his dedication to academics.
While Kay has not had work experience in the public relations field, he plans to intern as a copywriter in the upcoming spring semester, which will give him yet another perspective. His past work experience includes volunteer work at the Bohermore Youth Project and caddying at the Country Club of Rochester.
Aside from St. John Fisher College, Kay also studied at the National University of Ireland, Galway during the 2015 spring semester.
After graduation, Kay plans to pursue his passion for writing through the public relations sector.
