Jakarii Lenn Chappelle was born on March 20th,1992 in Greenville SC, at the Greenville Memorial Hospital. He is the only surviving child of Jane Elizabeth Chappelle(mother). He has never met his father. At the early ages of 10 and 11, Jakarii showed signs that he was an entertainer at heart. Auditioning for a role in The South Carolina's Children's Theatre for the play production "Peter Pan", Jakarii found himself not only recieving a main role as Tootles (a lost boy), but aswell getting local recognition in radio interviews and artical spots in "The Greenville Newspaper".At age 15, Jakarii began expressing himself by writing. Naturally, Jakarii began writing poetry and performing his poems at open mic's and events in the local area of Greenville SC. Jakarii stayed writing through the years growing and learning to respect words and good literature "....if it was not for poetry i would'nt be rapping, I would'nt want to rap." Eventually, Jakarii's writing would change. People that would hear Jakarii's poetry would say to him "Your poems sound like rap..." which at first discouraged Jakarii, but now he "embraces it" says the rapper THE RAMO. After hearing the reviews from audience's at open mics, Jakarii would all together stop writing and only rap. At age 19, Jakarii and group of close friends would start making rap music for them as well as there friends in the community. At age 20, Jakarii released his first mixtape "THE RAMO MIXTAPE PT.1" Getting great feedback from the the mixtape, Jakarii made the decision to try and persue this passionate hobby of his.
