Born on October 5, 1997, in Caracas, Venezuela, Jesús Alfredo Torres González, known as Jake Hardy JAT, has built his life around the discipline of martial arts and a passion for storytelling. From a young age, he excelled in traditional karate, achieving the rank of First Dan Black Belt under the Venezuelan Karate Federation (FVKD). His talent and dedication led him to become champion of the Simón Bolívar International Cup, National Champion, and medalist in multiple international tournaments, including the Solintex International Cup.
At the age of 24, he faced a life-changing challenge: the journey of migration to the United States. Jesús crossed Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico before reaching the U.S. border, facing difficulties and risky situations that strengthened his resilience and determination. This experience not only shaped his personal life but also became the inspiration for his filmmaking project.
Currently based in Chicago, Jesús combines his experience in karate with his love for cinema and storytelling. He is actively developing his film project, which explores forced migration, organized crime, and family drama, based on real testimonies and his own journey of overcoming adversity.
