Jakob Hebart

Research Fellow and PhD Candidate in Munich, Germany

Hi, I am Jakob!

I work as research fellow and PhD candidate at the “Chair of Economic & Transport Policy” headed by Prof. Dr. Alexander Eisenkopf at Zeppelin University (ZU) in Friedrichshafen. My research focuses on transport policy in Germany, in particular economic and regulatory aspects of demand-responsive passenger transportation services. I teach seminars in "Introduction to Economics" and "Environmental and Climate Economics" and had several administrative positions including PhD representative and deputy member of the academic senate.

Previously I studied Corporate Management & Economics (CME) as a master of science degree at Zeppelin University, a private, top 3-ranked university in Germany for well-rounded decision makers and creative innovators in the fields of business, culture and politics, as well as a multi-disciplinary research institution exploring issues relevant to society.

Before I worked as Junior Segment Marketing Manager at GFT Technologies SE, a business change and technology consultancy for the financial sector based in Stuttgart, Germany.

As undergraduate program I studied International Business at the Corporate State University in Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany. This programme distinguishes itself through the combination of anacademic approach with practical hands-on training. During my studies I cooperated with GFT Technologies SE and the global startup ecosystem CODE_n.

My personal interests are very broad with a focus on entreprenership, urban development, China and technology. I am an energetic person doing sports several times per week, enjoy socialising with friends, listen to house music and work on volunteering and privat projets.

Feel free to visit my LinkedIn or Xing profile and get in touch.

Sincerely,
Jakob
