Jakub Míšek, PhD
ICT Lawyer, Research Fellow, and LARP Designer in Brno, Česká republika
Assistant professor and Research Fellow at the Institute of Law and Technology, Masaryk University, Brno. I am a big fan of new technologies, and so ICT law is the best way for me how I can meaningfully get as close as possible to them. My main field of study is Privacy and Personal Data Protection, Freedom of Information and Open Data.
Besides law, I studied Theory of Music at Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Even though I do not practice that very much anymore, I am still connected with the world of art, e.g. by participating in the organisation of the annual Prague Shakuhachi Festival.
In my free time, I practice kendo and play and design larps. Recently I focus on edu-larps, education through the game experience. I try to connect different things I’ve learned. The results are for example Law and Literature articles on Legal Kitsch or musical larp Bucanero.
