Student, Designer, and athlete in Royse City
My name is Jaleigh Hamilton and I graduated from Royse City High School in 2022/2023. While in high school, I focused on the interior design career field. I finished top 50% of my class remaining with a 4.0 GPA and managing an SAT score of 1100. I plan on attending Jackson State University on a full-ride playing soccer and furthering my education in interior design.
- It helps people become better citizens, get better-paid jobs, and shows the difference between good and bad. Education shows us the importance of hard work and, at the same time, helps us grow and develop. Thus, we are able to shape a better society to live in by knowing and respecting rights, laws, and regulations. High school has always been said to prepare students for the challenges that they will face later in their lives. This is done by helping students use problem-solving skills as well as thinking through issues in a logical way. Education provides stability in life, and it's something that no one can ever take away from you. By being well-educated and holding a college degree, you increase your chances for better career opportunities and open up new doors for yourself.
- Technology literacy is the ability of an individual, working independently and with others, to responsibly, appropriately, and effectively use technology tools to access, manage, integrate, evaluate, create and communicate information. At its simplest, literacy is the way that we interact with the world around us, how we shape it, and are shaped by it. It is how we communicate with others via reading and writing, but also by speaking, listening, and creating.
