Hey there, I’m Jalyn. I’m a student living in Whitby, ON, Canada. I attend Ryerson University for my undergrad in Sports Media. I've always had a passion to watch basketball and football. Growing up we had Sunday football gatherings at my house. When basketball season would roll around, live games would be the only thing playing on TV. My profile picture is my family and I with the NBA trophy when it first arrived in Toronto. This day was the moment I realized how much sport can bring families together. Now being 18 years-old, my goal is to get into the marketing world of sports. I would love to travel for my job and work for an NBA team or partnering brand.

I'm also very interested in travelling and I hope to see every island in the world. I've been to Dominican, Jamaica, Hawaii, Cuba and many places in the states like Florida. I love to explore new cultures and try new foods. Speaking of food, it’s my world. I was raised to try everything and to be open to try food from all over the world. I’m mixed with Chinese, Indian, Newfie and Jamaican, so I’ve been exposed to so many amazing foods. My three favourite foods are, alfredo chicken pasta, poutine and oxtail with rice and peas.

I also love shopping and fashion. I keep up with the recent clothing designs and purchase trendy pieces to complete my look. My favourite simple pieces are leggings, high rise jeans and and anything cropped. I’m also interested in listening to genres of music like hip-hop and R&B. I love to look at an artist’s outfit and base my outfits off them. A perfect example of artist with amazing style is Rihanna. I grew up listening to oldies, so I love a good throwback look too.
