I love Education. Education has changed my life. As a promoter of Education I feel like I have the power to change lives.

I started working in Higher Education as an ESL/Spanish GED/Citizenship Student Specialist/Coordinator. Now, I'm a College Advisor/Professor and Teacher. Education has been part of my success and my goal is to help as many people as possible to achieve their academic goals. I work with students from the intake process through graduation. Teaching at Dorothy Stang High School has been my passion since it is volunteer work but the students come from diverse backgrounds. Working with Non Traditional, Returning, Adult Students is a challenge but rewarding every year to see a cohort of students graduate. Teaching High School Adult Students is not like teaching College students.

As a professional I have acted in plays during college. My graduation picture was featured in Diverse Magazine, June 10th, 2010. I have been interviewed on Latino Radio about Education and Immigration. My life was featured in Telemundo for a 15 minute segment called "Sueños frustrados", September 2004. I appeared on several news flashes for Univision talking about Education and the power of Education.

Last year I played the role of a student advisor (2015) on the movie "In the game".

I also started hosting my own radio show on 93.5 FM-Sabor Latino, South Bend, Indiana. Were I concentrate on Educating the Latino Community on every day issues like politics, news and the world.

I'm a member of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Pi Sigma Alpha and Sigma Delta Pi.
