Jamasee M. Simms
Jamasee M. Simms is a Management and Program Analyst for the Department of Homeland Security, where she contributes to internal communication for 13,000 employees.
Jamasee also co-owns Williams & Simms, a communication firm, which allows her to expand her communication expertise by creating original campaigns and projects. An example is the development of an inaugural fundraiser for a Maryland 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which raised over $2,000 for under-served youth and youth with learning disabilities. In addition, she was able to secure influential event partners and sponsors including the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA).
In addition to Jamasee’s real-world experience, her educational experiences has allowed her to excel in professional environments. Jamasee earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice from St. John's University and her Master of Arts degree in Communication from Trinity Washington University.
In her free time, Jamasee enjoys traveling and hosting dinner parties and social events for her family and friends.
