Jameel Olatunji

With dedication, entrepreneurship and consummate business ethics, Jameel Olatunji has spent over a decade in the engineering and construction industry where he currently serves as the Managing Director of TILT Construction, a company responsible for executing multi-million dollar projects annually. Under his leadership, the company’s revenue has witnessed tremendous growth, improved safety performance, added market penetration and expanded service geography across Nigeria.

At TILT Construction, Jameel has been opportune to execute all types of high-profile engineering projects including construction of marine transport infrastructure, road transport infrastructure, power lines & substations, military infrastructure and installations, public sector infrastructure such as hospitals, schools, offices, residences, etc. that help shape the society we live in today.

A highly engaged, strategic and decisive leader, his deep experience in multiple industrial markets including construction, real estate, energy and engineering has equipped him with monumental expertise that furnishes him with the acumen to seamlessly manage vast array of projects regardless of the project complexity. During the course of his professional career, he has taken on new challenges and delivered series of projects throughout the country; where he has earned an impeccable reputation for his leadership skills, as well as commitment to excellence and innovation.

Jameel is a thought leader in the engineering industry, with an exceptional knack for resources management. He is passionate about fostering a culture where team members enjoy a sense of belonging and have the support required to discharge their duties while finding new and innovative ways to expand expertise.

Prior to moving back to Nigeria, he worked as a project and research assistant in the United States. As Managing Director of TILT Construction, Jameel is saddled with the responsibility of leading company-wide strategic business planning and operations, devising corporate policy, procedures, and organisational structure to achieve internal goals and client expectations.

He is an Alumnus of the prestigious Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, where he also studied Business Foundations at McCombs Business School. He is also a graduate of Estate Management from University of Lagos, Akoka.
