Pastor Jamel Strong

Pastor Jamel Strong is an ordained minister, singer, and songwriter He sang his first solo at the age of six. As a teenager, Jamel sang on his first nationally released CD entitled “Have Thine Own Way” by The Alabama State COGIC Mass Choir. This recording was released on the Tribute Records label and executively produced by Ben Tankard.

After entering college on a music scholarship, Jamel went on to receive multiple Bachelor degrees in English and Telecommunications and a Masters degree in Language Arts Education from Alabama A&M University. He received biblical training at the C.H. Mason Bible College and worked closely with his parents in ministry.

Jamel has had the pleasure of writing and/or ministering with some of the greatest Gospel artists in the world including: Dr. Mattie Moss-Clark and the Clark Sisters, Bishop Walter and Edwin Hawkins, Kim Burrell, Pastor Marvin Sapp, Benita Washington, Bishop Jason Nelson, Maurette Brown-Clark and numerous others.

Pastor Strong founded Strength Ministries, Inc. From this non-denominational multifaceted ministry, Jamel Strong & Message was formed. Message is an aggregation of worship leaders who traveled the country ministering in concerts and seminars. In 2002, the Triple M Conference was founded. The Message Music Ministry Conference is an annual Worship & Word gathering that reemphasizes purity in music ministry through seminars, services, and concerts. It is from this conference that the first CD, Jamel Strong Presents The Triple M Mass Choir, yielded the worship anthem "My Hands Are Lifted Up". Written and led by Jamel, this song became an immediate success and debuted at the top of the Billboard Charts. It has been sung and re-recorded by worshippers all over the world.

Pastor Jamel Strong will continue to release music and literature that ministers to the heart and soul of humankind. Pastor Strong teaches humility and reverence in ministry and believes the gift should never overshadow our worship to God.
