An experienced business owner, James R. Maxwell is the chief executive officer of Agriland Farming Co., an organization he has led for three decades. During this time, Mr. Maxwell has provided farm management services to numerous clients while expanding the firm to become one of the world’s largest nut growers.
Alongside the company, Mr. Maxwell has founded several other organizations, such as the Agriland Nursery, which annually grows hundreds of thousands pistachio and almond trees.
James R. Maxwell is also the founder of Agri Systems, Inc., and Pistachio Harvesting, Inc., which were established in 2008 and 2014, respectively. With the organizations, he targets farmers who produce specific crops and provides them with a range of services, including soil amendment spreading and mechanical hedging.
He is also involved in a range of philanthropic causes, and supports Valley Children’s Hospital, the Madera Rescue Mission and the Central Valley Community Foundation. In addition, he established the Agriland Scholarship program and the Agriland Foundation.
