James Brady

My path began at the University of Toledo, where I studied Sociology before taking the challenge of becoming a U.S. Army Infantry Officer. Leading tours in the Middle East fostered a deep sense of responsibility and strategic thinking. After leaving the Army with honor, I leveraged my leadership skills in the dynamic world of emerging biotech and pharmaceuticals.

Driven by a thirst for broader business acumen, I returned to UT and earned an MBA in Executive Management and International Business in 2005. This invaluable experience equipped me to lead effectively across various industries.

Most recently, I served as President of Shaker Consulting LLC, a boutique firm specializing in optimizing sales forces and driving business growth. Prior to that, I held leadership positions as Vice President of Sales at One Call Care Management and Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Edenborough International, a Middle Eastern private security firm.

Giving back to the community is a core value for me. I've served on the boards of impactful organizations like the Breakthrough Charter Schools Network, UCP Cleveland, and The Shaker Heights Development Corporation. Additionally, I was elected to Shaker Heights City Council, serving from 2008 to 2016. Currently, I hold the position of Commissioner for the Ohio State Lottery.
