I was born and raised in Memphis, TN to a musical family. My mother was a classically trained pianist and music educator, and my father was a 70's rocker turned classical string player. As a child I was dragged to countless symphony gigs, and folk/rock shows. Through my parents influence, I discovered the merits of CSN, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, and The Beatles, as well as Aaron Copeland, Béla Bartók, and George Gershwin. Even as a young child they instilled in me a broad understanding of music.
I studied classical guitar at Samford University in Birmingham, AL. During college I also built experience playing in numerous bands and ensembles. My speciatly as a guitarist would be fingerstyle acoustic but I also play the electric in a unique way, as well as 5-string banjo & the mandolin.
I also have experience as a songwriter and arranger as well as managing post production work for my other people's projects as well as my own.
here are some links to work that I've done.
