James Foy

Denver, Colorado, United States

While I know have spent more time in the city than what I spent in rural, one thing remains the samein my heart is my roots. My family has roots of both immigrants and homesteaders. These roots have become the fabric of my existence. While I can share stories about India or cranking country music on my iPod on the Tube in London, the ones closest to my heart is from where it all started.
I can talk to you on ends about how my Mexican Grandmother taught me to cook or how Chris LeDoux "Underneath these Western Skies" brings a tear to my eye. However the next moment, I might bring up geopolitics. Either way, if you want to understand me it is simple. I am country boy and one who knows how blessed he is.
