James S. Gladney is the Founder and Managing Partner of Liberty Capital Partners, a boutique merchant banking firm he created in 1994.

James S. Gladney is also the Founder of Liberty Wealth Advisors where he developed the firm’s investment philosophy and grew the firm to over $1.75 million in client assets under management across 45 states.

Mr. Gladney has been an advocate of index investing for over 25 years. He believes that every client has a unique set of circumstances, needs and objectives that require highly personalized and specialized advice and that these cannot be achieved with a “one size fits all” approach to client service or investment management. Liberty Wealth Advisors is a boutique full-service firm that offers the complete spectrum of wealth planning and investment management services.

Mr. Gladney is a leading advocate of the Servant Leadership management philosophy and has created a corporate culture that embodies this approach in all his businesses. Mr. Gladney has spent over 35 years investing in and building a broad array of companies domestically and internationally in several industries including wealth management, hospitality, business services, distribution, real estate, enterprise software, and media.

Mr. Gladney has served for over 15 years as the Managing Partner of several investment firms as well as over 15 years as the CEO of multiple operating companies. He has also served on the Boards of Directors of over 20 companies, including Chairman roles for several Boards of Directors, Audit Committees, Compensation Committees, and Executive Committees. He was a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).
