James founded Cosmos Capital having spent 15+ years managing a private family office in Sydney. During this time he demonstrated the abilty to buy, scale and exit a number of positions both in the listed and unlisted investment space.

James is the Managing Director of Vertua Limited, an NSX listed investment company which has a long history of working in the real estate industry.

In his role at Vertua, James has sucessfully assisted in the building and development of Fiducia Group, a leading Sydney developer as well as establishing the Vertua Opportunities Fund, an unlisted wholesale fund focused on the acquisition of tourism focused assets.

James is skilled in Business Planning, Asset Management, Mergers & Acquisitions, Risk Management and Risk advisory, as well as and Equities trading.
