James Ramos

Lansing Michigan

Here is a little about me, I have operated and developed multimillion dollar businesses for the retailer of Citi Trends. Citi Trends is an off price Big Box Urban clothing retailer with over 350 stores nationally.

I served as an AmeriCorps in 2008 for NorthWest Initiative redeveloping the food distribution program.

As an Account Manager for NuWave Technology Partners I have closed $220,000 technology contracts, and prepped the ground work for $400,000 technology contracts with a local television station WLNS and VFW Boy’s and Girl’s of America of Eaton county. While I managed 150 accounts over nine counties.

As the Former Executive Vice President and Community Affairs person for the Greater Lansing Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, I have been influential in rebuilding strategic partnerships with governmental and corporate businesses. With an increase of brand awareness by over 40%. In addition to adding 900 plus NEW contacts to the Lansing Hispanic Chambers book of business since January 2013 to February 2014.

What has come from all of these experiences is Ramos Community Affairs of Michigan (or RCAMI).

Our community relation has built lasting, meaningful relationships in our Hispanic neighborhoods and communities. Whether it is a warm introduction, mounting regional campaigns, RCAMI knows the approach and engagement that will break down barriers between an organization and our communities.

We are constantly earning this trust and respect among the Hispanic community and influence at the grassroots to effectively position you to ensure your voice is heard. The best set of tools – sponsorships, company openings, executive positioning and community participation efforts – can unlock the help and support of the Hispanic community.

Whether you are introducing, a service or initiative?
RCAMI works closely with our clients to identify and build a beneficial path, both for our clients and the communities, to create “win-win” situations.

Current and past campaigns include Michigan Secretary of State, Candidate for Governor Mark Schauer, Crest Pontoon, and Pure Michigan (local). The agency’s community relations capabilities extend to multicultural markets through RCAMI

I currently sit on the Executive boards for Power of We Consortium’s Investors Steering Committee and I am a prospective Eaton County Commissioner of the Hispanic/Latino Commission of Michigan.
