James Stout
Kentucky
James is a developer with the heart of an educator. He's constantly on Twitter and various online forums offering help and advice.
In 2006, James was the sole web developer and site manager at King's Daughters Medical Center in Kentucky and responsible for 12 websites including the corporate intranet and portals. Most of these sites would be ported by James onto a .NET CMS called Ektron.
Through Ektron's online community and forums, he found the help he needed to be successful and, eventually, he became knowledgable enough to start answering questions in turn. Over the course of several months, James earned a reputation within Ektron's community under the name "eGandalf".
After speaking engagements at Ektron's customer conferences, James joined Ektron in 2009 and has been helping client and partner developers and business users ever since.
In 2015, Ektron merged with competitor EPiServer, and James remains a front-runner in the combined communities.
