James Ciapciak studied at Stonehill College in Massachusetts, where he pursued a Bachelor of Arts, focusing on Irish studies, political studies, and economics before graduating cum laude. Setting his sights on law, he enrolled in University of Notre Dame Law School and received his Juris Doctor, again finishing with cum laude honors. Following his education, James Ciapciak practiced at a law firm located in Boston. His areas of concentration ranged from employment disputes and advice to product liability cases and matters of real estate.
During his years as a practicing attorney, Jim Ciapciak dedicated himself to clients based in corporations and local businesses. As his reputation grew, Mr. Ciapciak's peers invited him to discuss his knowledge in front of legal groups and industry conferences. In particular, he sat on a panel for the Defense Research Institute's 1997 Employment Law Seminar, where he gave a presentation on how to expose expert witnesses and plaintiffs during depositions.
After amassing several years as a respected attorney, James Ciapciak decided to found his own business. He opened and managed offices across Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. He routinely lent his expertise to a wide array of Fortune 50 companies including General Motors Corporation, AIG, and Hartford Life, among numerous others. Every day, he applies his command of real estate industry practices to conduct and disseminate assessments of overhead analysis, determine ways to use assets most effectively, and perform real estate tasks such as due diligence and property analysis. One of Jim Ciapciak's most recent projects involved gentrifying a rundown inner city building into an elegant boutique hotel.
