James Grant

James Grant is Principle responsible for new business development.
Grant started Kayak Technology Group in 2012 and brings 25+ years of business development and recruiting in the Information Technology industry in the local Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
After serving as Sr Sales representative for Wang Laboratories , Grant launched his career in the I.T staffing Industry with Kforce serving as recruiter, business development Manager and then market manager for the downtown Minneapolis office of Kforce. Since leaving Kforce Grant has served as director business development and practice manager for several firms all of which served the I.T consulting industry focused around both staff augmentation as well as project based and fixed bid contracts.
In the Minnesota I.T marketplace, Grant has worked closely with local, national and international clients providing highly technical, highly talented professionals to both enterprise I.T and Marketing groups with an emphasis on quality, speed and a high a level of customer service.
Grant spends his time with his lovely wife Annette and three children, he is involved with the local Prior Lake youth Lacrosse league serving as a youth level coordinator. When he is not involved with the local sports and kids activities he enjoys hunting and fishing with family and friends.
Grant holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing with a Minor in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire – Plymouth
