James Olsen

Based in Orem, Utah, James “Jim” Olsen is an experienced attorney and business leader who most recently served as general manager at Desert Del Oro Foods, Inc. He worked two years for the Utah-based company, during which time he increased sales by more than 30 per cent and significantly reduced its employee turnover rate. James Olsen previously managed a law firm in Peoria, Arizona, for eight years.

As an attorney, James Olsen specialized in areas such as federal acquisition regulation, bankruptcy, debt settlement and restructuring, and litigation. He settled more than 1,600 federal court cases and advised clients in the aforementioned areas as well as in real estate matters. He has also worked in leadership roles at the commercial collection agency Hutchinson, Perry, & Associates, the State of Arizona Department of Transportation, and Forever Living Products.

Complementing his diverse leadership experience, Jim Olsen holds a juris doctor from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law. He also earned an MBA in business management from the Thunderbird School of International Management and a bachelor's degree in political science from Brigham Young University. He enjoys hobbies such as traveling and scuba diving and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
