I have taught in Special Education since I qualified in 2009. I am Lead Practitioner responsible for Curriculum and Strategic ICT in a generic special school in the South. I have worked with Post-16 students running a Life Skills curriculum, looking to develop their social, communication, life and vocational skills to help them take an active role in the community.

I have begun focusing on how technology can aid all learners to reach their potential with a particular emphasis on gesture based interactions i.e. iPad, Kinect etc. I am particularly interested in how technology can be used in the classroom to support teaching and learning for all learners.
