James Batmasian

An accomplished leader in the world of charitable nonprofits, James Batmasian has served the greater Boca Raton, Florida, area for more than three decades. He prepared for his successful career with a bachelor of science in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a juris doctor from Harvard Law School, and a master of business administration from Harvard Business School. James Batmasian is the founder and initial underwriter of People Reaching Out to Provide Education and Leadership. Otherwise known as PROPEL, this nonprofit initiative serves children who are underprivileged with a range of vocational training and scholarship opportunities.

In addition to his charitable work with PROPEL, Jim Batmasian has made significant financial and volunteer contributions to dozens of community service organizations, such as the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Center for Family Services. Jim Batmasian also supports a number of local cultural organizations, including the Boca Raton Museum of Art and the Caldwell Theater Company.
