James Benjamin De Rothschild

James Benjamin De Rothschild was born on December 01, 1979, in Tunapuna, Trinidad West Indies. James displayed remarkable trade talent from an early age, which fits well with his varied business interests. As a teen, he had developed an interest in buying and selling all sorts of stuff. James parents eventually asked him to move all his stuff to their garage which he converted into a store for his buying and selling projects.

James ancestors on the mother’s side were early settlers in Trinidad and the family owned a travel service business. James Benjamin De Rothschild attended ASJA Boys' College in South Trinidad. He would spend summers working on enormously varied tasks such as looking for stuff to buy at a bargain of course , and then sell it all, James started his first business in 2001. It was called Global Maritime, and it was an Customs Brokerage Service Company, the business did not have proper marketing and did not last. The family eventually moved to St, Madeleine and James realized his love for Shipping and Brokerage. He was even invited to participate as a paid trainee at shipping company in Port of Spain, Trinidad, Their he excelled in customs brokerage and shipping, James planned to further his education at The University of the West Indies, but he soon decided to return to open another business, De Rothschild Marine Ltd in 2017.
