James Brophy’s initial adventures in storytelling began in the second grade, where he was often found stapling together stacks of paper and creating little adventure books filled with crazy stories and flashy illustrations. His imagination was ignited when he received his first camcorder at the age of twelve, something he always dreamed of experimenting with. Ever since, he has been obsessed with the marriage of visuals and sound, a playground for his vivid imagination. His main interests in filmmaking are writing and directing; skills he has honed in a numerous variety of short films he has produced throughout the years.
