James Choi

I was born in Seoul, Korea in 1993, and spent my first four years in my home country before moving to the United States of America. My family of four lived in Michigan up until I was in the 3rd grade. Then, we once again packed our bags and moved to California. The remainder of my life has been spent living here in California, and I am currently attending Biola University, studying Biblical & Theological studies. Also, I work as a waiter in a sushi restauraunt named Orange Roll and Sushi.

I grew up in a Chrisitan home all my life, and always have attended church regularly. The Christian faith has always been a part of my life, and I continue to pursue the faith and practice Christian beliefs. Once I graduate from Biola University, I plan to attend Talbot School of Theology, and hope to enter ministry as a pastor.

I have had a blessed experience of being able to go on various overseas mission trips, including trips to Mexico, Jerusalem, Palestine, and Israel. In addition, I was able to work under Cerritos Presbyterian Church during the summer of 2014 for a Christian Academy program in the elementary ministry. In the program, I was responsible for teaching the Bible reading and Discipleship classes. I have a passion for ministry and look forward to more opportunities to come.

Some hobbies of mine are snowboarding, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, music production, going to the beach, and having fun with friends. I enjoy living a very active lifestyle, and am constantly trying to engage in physical activities.
