James Davis III

The founder of a law firm in Villa Rica, Georgia, James "Jay" Davis III has practiced elder law, corporate law, and real property law for more than 20 years. As part of his responsibilities, James "Jay" Davis III manages a team of attorneys and office staff, and works to clearly communicate the importance of proper planning to elderly clients. He has also developed and constructed government facilities and numerous residential and commercial properties. These include several subdivisions, two apartment complexes, and more than 50 residential houses.

Throughout his career, he has earned a reputation for giving back to the community through leadership roles. His appointments have included serving as the chairman of the local tri-county Boy Scouts of America region and the conservator and administrator for Douglas County, Georgia.

To prepare for a career in law, he earned a juris doctor from Georgia State University College of Law in 1997. Prior to that, he completed undergraduate courses and attained a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of West Georgia. Additionally, he served in the US Army for 2 years.
