James Davis Jr.

James E. Davis Jr. is the Founder /Executive Director of Becoming One Community Foundation. He also serves as a board member of the organization as well. He's created the vision and mission of the organization. He is a firm believer in successfully empowering the Foundation' participants (clients, staff, and volunteers) by implementing the Foundation's ideology. His experiences both personal and professional have contributed to the creation of powerfully insightful programs for the Foundation. He shares his expertise by providing executive management, guidance and consultation to the organization on a daily basis.

He is an avid supporter of community oriented programs that involves empowerment of individuals. He definitely has a passion for providing support and improving lives of those recently released from incarceration. It is his passion to instill confidence to those individuals desiring to be reinstated into society.

James is a loving man who takes time out to spend quality time with family and friends. He possesses a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Prairie View Agricultural and Mechanical University. He has participated in various programs that have instilled a transformational way of thinking. James is also an experienced CPR/First Aid Instructor (American Heart Association)

He has always desired to be a catalyst in the lives of those that desire to be at their highest potential of greatness. His personal mantra is “To be a contribution that empowers others!”
