Pioneer graduate of Grand Valley State University. Earned a Masters Degree in Management from Aquinas College and a Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling from Michigan State University. Married with 3 adult children. Retired from the Michigan National Guard and Smiths Industries. Currently work part-time at Spectrum Health.
