James Evanow is an International Speaker, Author and Trainer. He has trained in over 40 cities on Emotional Intelligence and Leadership. He uses powerful metaphors from his years as a sea captain to help others see that there are always ways to get to where you need to go.
A big believer in the possibility of a higher consciousness, he is passionate in teaching his clients and readers that our limiting beliefs will drag us down and act as anchors around our necks. In his new book, Wisdom From the Sea, he shares six real life stories that will change the way that you look at your life.
James does presentations in the professional and personal arenas. His teachings are largely based around emotional intelligence theory and he feels that in these uncertain economic times, that the time is now for people to tap into their ability to understand the needs of others. In return, this leads to stronger relationships, self-fulfillment and ironically enough, more abundance for all of those involved.
During his many years captaining boats, he dealt with things such as:
* Coursing a chart half way across the Pacific and back navigating his boat and crew to the bounty of offshore fish abundance.
*Witnessing the death of his father in a tragic drowning at sea
*Dealing with 30 foot waves and 70 knot winds
It has equipped him to help others build fortitude and perseverance. Since that time he has accomplished the following:
