James McCue

Business executive James McCue attended Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. McCue excelled during his academic career, earning grades that placed him on the Dean’s list three years in a row. After completing his undergraduate education, James McCue attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, ranking third in a class of 90 first-year students. Ultimately, he decided to focus on business, pursuing postgraduate certificates in Strategic Decision Making, Effective Speaking, The Art of Negotiating, and Finance for the Non-Financial Manager, to name a few. James McCue joined the Schering-Plough Corporation as a college student. Starting in hourly positions, McCue progressed to several leadership roles, eventually earning the title of Vice President of Materials Management. During his 24-year tenure, James McCue made numerous significant accomplishments. Notably, he led Schering Laboratories toward three Manufacturer of the Year wins for outstanding customer service. McCue later saved the entire corporation more than $180 million in spending through an innovative and global company-wide project. For 10 years at the start of the millennium, James McCue served as Director of Athletics and Activities at Union County College in New Jersey. Responsible for 6 varsity sports programs, he led 5 of them to national Top-20 rankings. Among other achievements, James McCue developed a championship women’s volleyball team, dramatically increased funding for the athletic department, and initiated a program to help improve student athlete in-class performance and graduation rates. James McCue is a proven leader in two different industries. He strives to optimize business practices, deliver excellent customer service, increase sales, and restore old accounts. A resident of Hillside, New Jersey, James McCue formerly belonged to the Customer Service and Logistics Management Council and the Strategic Purchasing and Supply Chain Leadership Council.
