I am a videographer, web content manager, social media coordinator, documentary producer and student. I’ve been working with director Nick Berardini since March 2011 on a feature documentary titled Killing Them Safely. I have also been consistently working at KOMU, mid-Missouri’s NBC affiliate, since August 2009.

My mentors are some of the most inventive minds in television and documentary production. I’ve been fortunate enough to study social media under New Media Director Jen Reeves and Eight time Emmy award winning Reporter Sarah Hill. They recognized how important Google+ could be to the ever changing journalism industry and utilized the hangout feature on air. They made KOMU the first TV station in the world to do that.
