James Hagerty

Welcome to my About.Me page! As you can see, I'm a teacher and a proud father of three kids (ages 5, 8, & 14). My wife and I enjoyed a trip to China with them this past summer where we visited friends and family in Fuzhou, Shanghai, and Shenyang!

As you can tell, I love being with my family and traveling. I also enjoy gardening, volunteering, and DIY projects.

I have been an educator for 20 years and have taught students from kindergarten through college in three different countries (U.S., China, New Zealand). I'm very excited to start my first year as a virtual instructor at South Carolina Connections Academy!
