Mr. James Hazley is a musician, producer and longtime Los Angeles scene mainstay who since 1994, has been associated with buzz acts like Cockeyed Ghost, Peeling Grey, Boyscouts Of Annihilation and Underground Larry. Since 2009, he has exclusively worked out of Surplus Sound Studios in Van Nuys,CA for all his media projects. He first played with Surplus' Chris Gubisch in Brazillian Electronic band, D'Agua. He is perhaps,best known for his versatility playing 5 instruments in literally every conceivable genre as well as making a dent in the Los Angeles hip hop scene with his rapping and production.His current projects include the Serial Killers Union music and art collective,as well as a nascent production partnership with Surplus' Rocker Meadows called "Hazley Meadows". As well as doing production on upcoming albums by Mazzy Star co-founder Suki Ewers and System Of a Down's John Dolmayan.
