James is a Director of KPMG Australia's Advisory Risk Consulting Business where he works in the Data Analytics and Digital Consulting Practice.

He is also and Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Business at the University of Notre Dame, Sydney.

He has also established a reputation as an effective advocate for his local community.

James is passionate using data to make better decisions.

James was elected as a Liberal Councillor on Manly Council from 2012 until 2016, and got straight to work on the issues that mattered.

He was Deputy Mayor of Manly 2015-2016 and served as the Chairman of the Planning and Strategy Committee 2013-14.

James has been active in his local community through his membership of Manly Surf Life Saving Club where he was the Junior Club Captain and Member of the Executive Committee.

James has also been the Chairman of the Little Manly Community Precinct Forum.

He is married to Elissa.

Even after 20 years of living in Manly, he's still only an average Surfer and terrible at surfing the right-hander at the Bower.
