James Knight is a business leader with a proven record of acquiring underperforming organizations and making them profitable. He laid the groundwork for his 23-year career at Dartmouth College's Amos Tuck School of Business in Hanover, New Hampshire. After earning his master of business administration, James Knight went on to serve in managerial positions with Apple, Inc., and the Boston Consulting Group. He currently heads the Orono, Maine, renewable energy firm Pelletco, LLC.
From 2001 to 2010, Mr. Knight served as the president and chief executive officer of Knight-Celotex in Northfield, Illinois. After acquiring Celotex Fiberboard in a leveraged buyout, he went on to increase the company's overall sales figures from $46 million to $115 million by introducing several new lines of fiberboard products. Under his management, the company also introduced new environmental policies to become a leader in green manufacturing. It currently supports more than 500 employees and a team of experienced senior managers.
