James Locke

James Locke is an executive and advisor with over 25 years of experience working for leading multinational firms in the M&A, consulting, consumer goods, telecommunications, high-technology and insurance industries. He has worked for reputable US companies in Brazil such as S.C. Johnson, PepsiCo, A.T. Kearney, and as a regional director in Eastern Europe at MetLife Alico. In the consumer goods industry he achieved key positions in brand management, sales & distribution, new business development. In consulting he performed key projects in marketing, strategy, and organizational development. In finance he directed a business unit in the insurance area, and performed M&A engagements.

Having lived in the Brazil, Europe, and the US his successful record of accomplishments led him into increasing international responsibilities.

Mr. Locke helps companies enter or expand into Brazil and the United States. He leverages his international experiences to help companies with funding, routes to market, supply chain development, marketing and branding, government relations, location selection, and organizational structure. He also helps both international and domestic companies with strategic planning, project management, alliance strategies, and business and trade development.

Mr. Locke earned a BBA in Business Administration from Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. In addition to English, he is fluent in Portuguese and has good knowledge of Spanish and Greek.
