James Lynn Granum Jr

While James Lynn Granum Jr. lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, he worked as a dolphin trainer. He worked with a total of four dolphins and was responsible for feeding, conditioning, and training these dolphins. He worked in both research and animal husbandry. He loved working with these beautiful mammals and learning about their behaviors. Granum worked as a trainer while simultaneously earning college credit through Trinity College, something that was made possible through both his work at the dolphin lab and through taking night classes at the University of Hawaii. He also enjoyed contributing to the scientific community through his research.
