Well-seasoned, but not yet grizzled. Artist Teddy Bear Maker, Author and Storyteller. Guitarist and other fun stuff. Father of four wonderful grown children. Eagle Scout. Former Boy Scout leader. Outdoorsman and Nature Lover. Old enough to know better but still young enough not to care.

Retired on disability with more new parts than a corner hardware store, I make artist style collector Teddy Bears and old-fashioned Raggedy Dolls, refurbish and bring new life to vintage Cabbage Patch Kid dolls, make accessories for all, and fashion fine quality wire-wrapped Sea Glass, Natural and Healing Stone Pendants for adults. It's all to be found in my little shop on eBay -- Old Glory Bears and Raggedy Dolls, linked below.

Information on a variety of nature, positivity, and children's topics, new creations, occasional poetry, original writing, serialized stories and Free Reads are all shared on my Blog- http://jamesmilson.com. It’s Free to follow, with notices of new posts delivered right into your email inbox.

In between "making" things I write short stories for both the young and young at heart. "The Adventures of Little Red Bear", a collection of short stories is available for Kindle and in Paperback on Amazon. The stories feature the adventures of my good friend Little Red Bear, an uncommonly special bear, and his friends in the beautiful Ozarks Mountain Country. Family-friendly entertainment and old-fashioned story telling for all ages and audiences! Exciting and heartwarming stories feature colorful, fun and lovable characters with positive themes of friendship, helping others, kindness and overcoming challenges in life; blended with educational information on the ways of nature, conservation, the environment and a love of the great outdoors and Mother Nature.

When not occupied with the above, I spend time working to perfect the art of artisan bread making and bothering my guitars.

Please drop by any or all of my sites for a visit and say “hello”. I look forward to getting to know you! -- Jim (and Red!)
