James Mulvenon
I am a 2010 graduate of Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Deisgn/Graphic Design. I currently work for The Marlin Company in Springfield, Missouri as a Graphic Designer. My primary client responsibility is that of Starbucks Foodservice. I am also an adjunct professor at Missouri State University, teaching letterpress printing. I previously worked for ResNet on the Missouri State campus as a print and web designer. In the Summer of 2009 I interned with the local NPR affiliate, KSMU, as a photo-journalist. My work has been selected by the President of Missouri State University to be installed on grain silos in a new downtown expansion called IDEA Commons. I have also created identities for the BearCLAW (a learning commons) and the Art & Design Department at Missouri State. Along with my friend Adam Bowlin, we were selected as one of five finalists for all supporting materials of a local arts festival entitled ArtsFest. In June of 2010 I married my girlfriend of six years, Cori. I enjoy typography, letterpress, cooking, music, fixed gear bikes, movies, graphic novels, lego and video games.
