James Murrland

James Murrland is an alternative hip hop recording artist, and producer. He is from Silver Spring, Maryland U.S.A. Since early in his childhood, James had always been fascinated as well as interested in music and entertainment. For example, singing and playing instruments at school.

James started making beats at the age of thirteen thanks to a childhood friend that gave him a program called FL loops. After high school he and then time partner ZIRI-M.TCHA, formed a production group called 'Legacy Sound' where they produced for local acts.

He has been performing since 2008 in clubs around Beijing as well as other cities in China. He is also cofounder of production group " The Triads" based in beijing.

He has stated on several occasions that he is influenced by Dr.Dre, Jay-z, T.I, Kanye West, Nas, and Outkast to name a few. His musical style is a somewhat off-beat conversational flow with a charismatic delivery.
