James Myers

James Myers started standup comedy in February 2012 after three years of bartending at the Columbus Funny Bone. He was encouraged to try standup by Such nationally touring comedians as Dave Attell and Dom Irrera who described him as "pretty funny" and "a godawful bartender anyway".

The Columbus Funny Bone agreed on both counts.... and after firing James, they have twice since named him a finalist in the semi-annual Columbus' funniest person comedy competition.

In the time since he has been honing his act on the road all over Ohio as a professional comedian, including opening a weekend in January for John Caparulo at the Cincinnati Funny Bone.
